UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER
Where do we start…? As one of our biggest clients, we have been working with the University for five years, providing all their high-profile video campaigns.
Initially, in October 2004 the Victoria University of Manchester and UMIST merged to create Britain’s biggest and newest University – the University of Manchester. Dreamscope provided all the media requirements for the University including the Visitor centre interface screen (incorporating 12 new video clips direct to the general public), all internal promotion, student recruitment videos and corporate promotional media. We were also delighted to have been asked to create a documentary focussing on the visit of Her Majesty the Queen on the 22nd October 2004.
Since then we have taken on numerous projects including all visual media, unveiled to the public in the brand new visitor centre in Autumn 2008. We are responsible for all video content, managing all visual and interactive media and ensuring that the largest University in the country is promoted in the most prestigious way possible. If you’re driving down Oxford road in Manchester, you’ll see our videos firing out onto the street from inside the visitor centre, 24-hours a day.
Our work with the University is highly praised and our videos are shown in over 150 countries. Currently, our most recent video (covering the ‘vision for 2015’ project) appears on the University’s homepage.
We are currently working on a contemporary student recruitment video, featuring the latest in filming techniques.
